- This research was conducted to investigate the properness of learning media by using specimen of butterfly in topic of animals world at ten grade of senior high school. This research was conducted in May to June 2016. Research used a Developing research (Research & Development) based on Bord and Gall model which modified. Data collection was conducted by providing questionnaires. In analyzing the data by descriptive analysis. The results of this research showed that the learning media by using specimen butterfly in topic of animals world at ten grade of Senior High School very good criteria. Based on validation of material contens experts the percentage (78.40%), Validation of media containt experts the percentage (87.49%), the individual (95.14%), small group (91.00%), and a field (93.05%) the result is very good criteria
