- One part of life that most use of technology in the world of business organizations. Information technology has a very important role for the organization or company. Information technology has a very important role for the agency or company. The information technology is needed in the management of a modern office. Modern office office management of all activities undertaken by using office automation tools. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of information technology and the suitability of the task-technology on the performance of individual tax officials in the Tax Office Pratama South Malang. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The aim of this study was to determine the effect simultaneously and partial use of information technology and the suitability of the task-technology on the performance of individual tax officials. Data analysis method used is descriptive and inferential analysis. Results of the test showed that the simultaneous use of information technology and the suitability of the task-technology significant effect on the performance of individual tax officials. In the partial test results obtained utilization of information technology and the suitability of the task-technology significant effect on the performance of individual tax officials. Key words: Information technology, task-technology fit, and individual performance of tax officials ABSTRAK Salah satu bagian kehidupan yang paling banyak memanfaatkan teknologi adalah dunia organisasi bisnis. Teknologi informasi mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting bagi organisasi atau perusahaan. Teknologi informasi mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting bagi instansi atau perusahaan. Teknologi informasi ini sangat dibutuhkan dalam pengelolaan kantor yang modern. Perkantoran modern segala kegiatan manajemen perkantoran dikerjakan dengan menggunakan alat-alat otomatisasi kantor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan kesesuaian tugas-teknologi terhadap kinerja individual pegawai pajak di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Malang Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara simultan dan parsial pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan kesesuaian tugas-teknologi terhadap kinerja individual pegawai pajak. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil dari uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan kesesuaian tugas-teknologi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja individual pegawai pajak. Pada uji parsial diperoleh hasil pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan kesesuaian tugas-teknologi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja individual pegawai pajak.
