- Abstract Purposes of this research are that: to study the guidelines for deed making nowadays and to study and analyse the prospect of drafting the guidelines of deed making. The method used in this thesis is a normative research using regulatory approach and the conceptual approach. Furthermore, the legal materials will be used to describe and analyze the relationship between each other of existing legal materials. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the creation deed has not developed in accordance with the development of existing technologies, as well as the reading and signing of the deed deed through video conferencing can not be done due to in Article 16 paragraph 1 letter m Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 Year 2014 About Amendment Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30 Year 2004 About Notary jo Article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 Year 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions states that the deed must be made in writing. Though video conferencing can be used to help the performance of the notary making it more effective and the results of the readings and a signatory to the notarial deed form of a notarial deed is still in print in other words remain as written. Key words: prospects, reading and signing, notary deed, video conference AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengkaji pedoman pembuatan akta notaris selama ini dan untuk menganalisis prospek perumusan pedoman pembuatan akta notaris melalui video conference.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan tesis ini adalah penelitian normatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan konseptual.Selanjutnya terhadap bahan-bahan hukum akan digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis keterkaitan antara satu sama lain dari bahan hukum yang ada. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pembuatan akta selama ini tidak berkembang sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi yang ada, serta pembacaan akta dan penandatanganan akta melalui Video conference belum dapat dilakukan karena dalam pasal 16 ayat 1 huruf m Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 2 Tahun 2014 Tentang Perubahan Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 30 Tahun 2004 Tentang Jabatan Notaris j.o. pasal 5 Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 11 Tahun 2008 Tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik menyatakan bahwa akta harus dibuat dalam bentuk tertulis. Padahal Video Conference dapat digunakan untuk membantu kinerja notaris sehingga lebih efektif dan hasil dari pembacaan dan penandatangan akta notaris tetap berbentuk akta notaris yang di print out dengan kata lain tetap berbentuk tertulis.Kata kunci: prospek, pembacaan dan penandatanganan, akta notaris, video conference
