- This research aims to reveal the strategy from each PKK's Cadres in managing their activity in the scope RW (neighborhood). The results of this research are expected to be the city Goverment's input to improve PKK's Self reliance in Addressing the issues an effort to encourage women's role in realizing the PKK cadres prosperous society. this research was designed using qualitative methods phenomenology.the location research are sub district Gondomanan an sub-district Kraton (Palace).Method of collecting data with in-depth interviews,documentation, focus group discussion, observation of the PKK's cadre,team,and community leader data analysis is done by qualitative methods. To formulate the strategy,we used SWOT analysis.The result shows that 39 Strategies can be used in managing the activities taking advantage of local culture potential have not been considered seriosly as an citizen economic development strategy. The Strategy decreasing waekness of PKK to achieve opportunity, most of all strtegies never been used. The most major weak condition is in avoiding threats, strategy that PKK can do as a Community is do coordination activity with community leader such as district head, sub-district head, PKK district and youth groups to joinly seeking efforts to reach PKK's goal out. to manage PKK activities especially an sub-district PKK that Oriented on self-reliance, it needs Yogyakarta Government support throught agencies and, public figures,citizen, college university, work unit area and the team of PKK sub-district.
