- ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplorasi yang bertujuan untukmengisolasi senyawa metabolit sekunder yang terdapat dalam ekstrak kloroform daun Coleus scutellarioides, Linn, Benth yang berasal dari wilayah Kecamatan Tallo, Jl.Andi Tonro, dan Minasa Upa, Kecamatan Tamalate Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan. Isolasi dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu maserasi, partisi dengan kloroform, fraksinasi, uji kemurnian dan identifikasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh isolat murni berupa kristal jarum berwarna putih bening. Hasil uji dengan pereaksi Liebermann-Buchard membentuk cincin hijau menunjukkan positif steroid. Isolat diidentifikasi dengan menganalisis spektrum infra merah yang menunjukkan bilangan gelombang (cm-1) yakni: 1056,99 (C-O); 1462,04 dan 1377,17 (CH2 dan CH3), 1645,28 (C=C); 2956,87 (C-H); 3441,01 (OH alkohol).Kata kunci: Isolasi, C.scutellarioides, Linn, Benth., steroidABSTRACTThis study is exploratory research aim to isolate and the secondary metabolite compound contained in the kloroform extract of stam of Coleus scutellarioides, Linn, Benth from districts Tallo, Andi Tonro streets, and Minasa Upa, districts Tamalate Makassar, South Sulawesi. Isolation is done in several stages; maceration, partitioning with kloroform, fractionation, purity testing and identification. The result is obtained pure isolate white needle crystal. The test result with the Liebermann-Buchard reagent to from a green ring indicated a positive steroid. Isolate is identified by analyzing the infra red spectrum which showed the wave number (cm-1) are: 1056,99 (C-O); 1462,04 and 1377,17 (CH2 and CH3), 1645,28 (C=C); 2956,87 (C-H); 3441,01 (OH alcohol).Keyword: Isolation, C.scutellarioides, Linn, Benth., Steroid
