- ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi think talk write pada model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa Kelas XI MS SMA Negeri 2 Bulukumba. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah strategi think talk write pada model pembelajaran problem based learning dan variabel terikatnya adalah keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi pokok laju reaksi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MS SMA Negeri 2 Bulukumba. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu random sampling. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI MS2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 37 orang dan kelas XI MS3 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 39 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu lembar observasi untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa dan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan menilai aktivitas keterampilan berpikir kritisnya selama proses pembelajaran dan memberikan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi pokok laju reaksi berupa post-test yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis statistika inferensial diperoleh thitung (5.33) >ttabel (1,67) pada α═ 0,05. Disimpulkan bahwa strategi think talk write pada model pembelajaran problem based learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis Siswa Kelas XI MS SMA Negeri 2 Bulukumba pada materi pokok laju reaksi.Kata Kunci : Think talk write, Problem based learning, Keterampilan berpikir kritis, Laju reaksiABSTRACTThe research was a quasi-experimental that aimed to know the effect of think talk write strategy on problem based learning model toward student’s critical thinking skill of class XI MS SMA Negeri 2 Bulukumba. The independent variable in this experiment was Think Talk Write Strategy on problem based learning model and the dependent variable was student’s critical thinking skill on reaction rate subject matter. The population was class XI MS SMA Negeri 2 Bulukumba. Taking technique of sample was random sampling. The sample of this research consisted of two classes, namely class XI MS2 as a experiment class with 37 students and class XI MS3 as a control class with 39 students. Instrument in my research are observation sheet to know the activity of student and test of critical thinking skill to know the critical thinking skill student. The data of the research were gathered by valuated critical thinking skill activity during learning in class room and testing the students’ critical thinking skill on reaction rate subject matter for post-test which were analyzed by using t-test. Results of inferential statistical analysis were tcalculated (5.33) higher than ttable (1,67) on α ═ 0,05. Conclude that think talk write strategy on problem based learning model gives effected toward student’s critical thinking skill of class XI MS SMA Negeri 2 Bulukumba on reaction rate subject matter.Keywords: Think talk write, Problem based learning, Critical thinking skill, Reaction rate
