  • ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan blending biomassa Aspergillus niger-kitin, untuk mempelajari kemampuan adsorpsi terhadap ion logam Cu(II). Studi diawali dengan pembuatan kitin dan produksi biomassa Aspergillus niger. Selanjutnya dilakukan blending. Karakterisasi adsorben hasil blending menggunakan FTIR, analisis sebelum dan setelah adsorpsi menggunakan SSA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adsorben blending biomassa Aspergillus niger - kitin optimum, pH 4, waktu interaksi 60 menit, konsentrasi awal 200 mgL-1. Laju adsorpsi 1,528 menit-1. Kapasitas adsorpsi 6,73x10-4 molg-1. Energi adsorpsi sebesar 18,321 kJmol-1.
