- This research aims to discover the students perception who have different cultures towards local content in MTs Maâ€TMarif NU 08 Mataram Baru academic years 2013/2014. The method of this research use qualitative descriptive and data analysis use the formula percentages. Population of this research as much as 181 students, so samples taken as much as 15% of the total of 27 students. Based on the result of this research, it can be known that students perceptions who have different culture towards local content in school MTs Maâ€TMarif NU 08 Mataram Baru years lesson 2013/2014 from indicators of understanding, as much as 15 respondents or 55,56% stated that they have not understand yet. Based on the response, as many as 13 respondents or 48.15% were less agree with the existence of local language content of Lampung. Based on indicators of hope, as many as 13 respondents or 48.15% were less agree.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan persepsi siswa yang berbeda budaya terhadap pelajaran muatan lokal di sekolah MTs Maâ€TMarif NU 08 Mataram Baru tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 181 siswa, sehingga sampel yang diambil sebanyak 15% yaitu sebanyak 27 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa persepsi siswa yang berbeda budaya terhadap pelajaran muatan lokal di sekolah MTs Maâ€TMarif NU 08 Mataram Baru tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 dari indikator pemahaman, sebanyak 15 responden atau 55,56% menyatakan kurang paham. Berdasarkan indiator tanggapan, sebanyak 13 responden atau 48,15% menyatakan kurang setuju dengan adanya muatan lokal bahasa Lampung. Berdasarkan indikator harapan, sebanyak 13 responden atau 48,15% menyatakan kurang setuju.Kata kunci: budaya, muatan lokal, persepsi siswa
