- The data analysis indicates that there is a significant improvement between the results of posttest of both classes. The main score of experimental class before the treatment was 60 while control class was 48.5 After giving the treatment, the mean score of experimental class in Posttest is 79.5 and the control class is 59.5 it is also shown that the tcounted 2.500 is greater in ttable 2.101 . It means the use of word search puzzle technique is effective in teaching vocabulary through fifth grade students of SD Islam Khalifah Palu.
