- Abstract Technology serves properly as a teaching media implemented in the classroom which might result in better teaching and learning process. The proper use of selected media in teaching and learning process would support the students’ better understanding toward the learning material given. One way to use the technology of e-learning as a media on teaching and learning is Edmodo. Edmodo can be the media that supports English teaching and learning for courses in universities which encourages the learners. This study is aimed to describe the use of Edmodo in English teaching and learning. There are several advantages to use Edmodo in English class such as increasing the lecturer and students’ interaction, building an internet based class, adding the learning variation, and giving opportunity to change the traditional learning into interactive learning. Edmodo also gives more accessibility and helps to improve the students’ participation so that it results in better learning and achievement. Keywords: Edmodo, English Teaching Learning
