FINANCIAL ANALYSIS OF BUSINESS LAYING CHIKEN THE STARTER – GROWER (PULLET) FARM OWNED BY MR.SAHLAN IN THE NGEBRUK VILLAGE PONCOKUSUMO SUBDISTRICT MALANG

- ABSTRACT This research was carried out on a farm owned by Mr. Sahlan in the Ngebruk village subdistrict Malang with a population of 6.000 birds on March 1, through June 30, 2016. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of pullet financially. The material used in this study is the economic value of farm pullet with a population of 6.000 birds per period. This research used survey method with quantitative approach. Which one all data were analyzed descriptively and financially. The variables were observed in this study are: the total cost of production, revenues, profit, break even point (BEP), revenues cost ratio (R/C), benefit cost ratio (B/C), and payback period (PBP). The results showed that the total cost of production Rp.274.238.151,- Acceptance Rp.308.312.000,- and a profit of Rp.34.073.849,- while the price BEP obtained if the selling price a bird worth Rp.35.588/Kg, BEP production amounted to 6.891,4Kg, R/C ratio of 1,12 and B/C ratio of 0,12. The farm business need at a period of time to recover the cost of investment for 1 year, 7 months, 17 days. From the results of this study can be concluded that the laying chicken starter - grower (pullet) period, farm owned by Mr Sahlan in the Ngebruk village Poncokusumo subdistrict of Malang is feasible to be developed because this R/C ratio is 1,12.
