  • The purpose of the research is to improve science learning result of human and animal’s organs for grades V students. The research method was developed by using classroom action research that was conducted from August 26 2013 to September 10, 2013. The hope through the application of learning model “jigsaw” through using torso props can improve Natural science learning result of human and animal’s organ grades nine students. The research performance indicators are the increased value of the average to 70 and reaches completeness 75%. The action is given to the integrated student in the learning process model “jigsaw” through using torso props. After students are given the action and take the test, the results showed an increase in learning achievement are encouraging. In the first cycle, the average value increased to 65.38 and reached completeness 73.08%. While in the second cycle showed more satisfactory results where the average value of the rate can reach 76.15 with the completeness level 80.77%. Based on the empirical fact concluded that through the application of learning model “jigsaw” through using torso props can improve Natural science learning achievement of human and animal’s organ for the first semester of fifth grade students of SMPN 1 Srono academic year 2014/2015.
