PERBEDAAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA YANG DIAJAR DENGAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DAN RECIPROCAL TEACHING

  • Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL), (2) mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model Reciprocal Teaching, (3) mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Model Reciprocal Teaching.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif,. Populasi adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Washliyah 8 Medan yang secara acak dipilih 2 kelas. Kelas eksperimen 1 diberikan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learningdan kelas eksperimen 2 diberi perlakukan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching.Temuan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan : (1) Berdasarkan rata-rata nilai, maka siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan Model PembelajaranProblem Based Learning memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa 4,385 lebih tinggi dari sis wa yang diajar menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching. Sehingga kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning lebih baikdaripada siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching. (2) Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji F, diperoleh nilai FHitung = 8,671. Diketahui bahwa nilai koefisien FHitung > FTabel.  Artinya Terdapat perbedaan antara model pembelajaran Problem Based Learningdan Reciprocal Teaching. Kata Kunci: Pemecahan Masalah Matematika; Problem Based Learning; Reciprocal Teaching;     Kubus dan Balok.   ABSTRACT     This study aims: (1) to determine the ability to solve mathematical problems of students who are taught by the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, (2) to determine the ability to solve mathematical problems of students who are taught by the Reciprocal Teaching model, (3) to determine the differences in students' mathematical problem solving abilities. who are taught using Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model and Reciprocal Teaching Model. This research is a quantitative research. The population is class VIII SMP Al-Washliyah 8 Medan who randomly selected 2 classes. The experimental class 1 was given the Problem Based Learning learning model and the experimental class 2 was treated with the Reciprocal Teaching learning model. 4,385 higher than students who were taught using the Reciprocal Teaching Learning Model. So that the ability to solve mathematical problems of students who are taught with the Problem Based Learning learning model is better than the students who are taught by the Reciprocal Teaching learning model. (2) results Based on the analysis of the F test, obtained the value of FCount = 8,671. in addition, the value of the coefficient FCount > FTable.
