- Abstract : pregnancy is a physiological state, but there are some circumstance that can causea pregnancy full of threats. One of the diseases that often threaten pregnancy is hypertension.The condition is related to several factors one of the mothers age during pregnancy . Aid of thestudy: is to identify the relationship of age during pregnancy with the incidence of hypertensionin the general hospital GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. Method: design of this study usinganalytic survey with cross sectional approach. Using total sampling technique that involved 32persons. The tools were used in this study are observation sheet, Sphygmomanometer andStethoscope. Result: analysis was using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of95%(α=0,05) and shows that the ρvalue is 0,001 < α=0,05. Conclusion: there is therelationship of age during pregnancy with the incidence of hypertension in the general hospitalGMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. Reccomendations: a pregnancy check must be done regularyto determine the risk factors for the incidence of hypertension in pregnant women.Keywords: age of during pregnancy, the incidence of hypertensionAbstrak : Kehamilan merupakan suatu keadaan fisiologis, tetapi ada beberapa keadaan yangdapat menyebabkan kehamilan penuh dengan ancaman. Salah satu penyakit yang seringmengancam kehamilan adalah hipertensi. Keadaan tersebut berhubungan dengan beberapafactor, salah satunya usia ibu saat hamil. Tujuan Penelitian: untuk mengetahui hubungan usiaibu saat hamil dengan kejadian hipertensi di RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. Metode:menggunakan desain penelitian survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknikpengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 32 sampel.Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, sphygmomanometer dan stethoscope.Hasil: analisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan 95% (α=0,05) danmenunjukkan nilai ρ=0,001. Simpulan : terdapat hubungan usia ibu saat hamil dengan kejadianhipertensi di RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. Saran: pemeriksaan kehamilan wajibdilakukan secara teratur untuk mengetahui factor-faktor resiko terhadap kejadian hipertensipada ibu hamil.Kata Kunci : Usia Ibu Saat Hamil, Kejadian Hipertensi
