- ABSTRACT CHALLENGES OF LEARNING ENGLISH ONLINE AT HOME DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC BASED ON THE TEACHER EXPERIENCE (Descriptive Qualitative Research) By Devi Karlina 17050035 This research aimed to describe, explain and analyze the challenges of learning English online at home during the Covid-19 pademic based on teacher experience. There are some problems related to the challenges of learning English online at home during the Covid-19 pandemic based on the teacher experience; Teachers’ difficulty in the process of learning English online at home during the Covid-19 pandemic and the challenges faced by the teachers in the process of learning English online at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The subject of the research in this study was an English teacher in TK Aisyiah Bustanul Anthfal 1 Air Naningan, SDN 2 Air Naningan, SMPN 1 Air Naningan and SMAN 1 Air Naningan. This research used Questionnaier and interviews to showed different levels of challenges of learning English during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of this study about the challenges of learning English online at home during the Covid-19 pandemic in Kindergarten to Senior High School level in Air Naningan sub-district is how teachers can convey material well and students can understand material delivered by the teacher using online media, because many students find it difficult to access online learning because some students don't have smartphones, do not have enough data plan , and even signals that do not support it. There are some students who do not take online learning and do not submit assignments. Teachers also experience difficulties to know students' abilities and character because online learning.
