  • ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana implementasi kebijakan pendidikan sekolah marginal sentosa. Dengan Subfokus yaitu: (1) Sasaran dalam penerapan implementasi kebijakan pendidikan Sekolah Marginal di Dusun Sentosa Desa Simpang Gaung Kecamatan Gaung Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau (2) Sistem pelaksanaan pendidikan Sekolah Marginal di Dusun Sentosa Desa Simpang Gaung Kecamatan Gaung Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau (3) Ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana pendukung penyelenggaraan pendidikan Sekolah Marginal di Dusun Sentosa Desa Simpang Gaung Kecamatan Gaung Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsis Riau (4) Proses belajar mengajar Sekolah Marginal di Dusun Sentosa Desa Simpang Gaung Kecamatan Gaung Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang digali dari responden dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Selanjutnya analisis data melalui reduksi data, display data serta kesimplan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Sasaran dalam penerapan implementasi kebijakan pendidikan Sekolah Marginal Sentosa anak-anak terpinggir, terjauh dan dari ekonomi yang lemah (2) Sistem pelaksanaan pendidikan Sekolah Marginal Sentosa meliputi: (a) kurikulum Kurikulum yang digunakan SMP Marginal mengikuti sekolah induk yaitu kurikulum KTSP (b) tenaga pengajar berjumlah 4 orang dan berdomisili dekat dengat Sekolah Marginal Sentosa (c) pembiayaan bersumber dari dana BOS dan di kelola oleh sekolah induk (3) Ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana pendukung penyelenggaraan pendidikan Sekolah Marginal Sentosa sangat terbatas (4) Proses belajar mengajar Sekolah Marginal Sentosa lebih mengkondisikan kepada keadaan siswa serta sarana dan prasarana yang ada. With subfokus viz: (1) Targets in the application of education policy implementation of Marginal School in Dusun Sentosa Desa Simpang Gaung Kecamatan Gaung Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau (2) the implementation of the education system of Marginal School in Dusun Sentosa Desa Simpang Gaung Kecamatan Gaung Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau (3) availability of facilities and infrastructure to support the provision of Marginal School education in Dusun Sentosa Desa Simpang Gaung Kecamatan Gaung Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsis Riau (4) Learning process of Marginal School in Dusun Sentosa Desa Simpang Gaung Kecamatan Gaung Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau. This research used Qualitative Descriptive collected from respondents with data collection through documentation, observation anddeep interview. Furthermore, data analysis through data reduction, data display along with conclusion and verification.The result of the research shows that: (1) Targets in the application of education policy implementation of Marginal School are in accordance with educational policy of marginal school that isthe marginalized children of Dusun Sentosa (2) the implementation of the education system in Sentosa marginal school includes: (a) Curriculum that is used in SMP Marginal following the holding schoolthat is school-based curriculum (KTSP) (b) the number of the teacherare 4 person and living close to Sentosa Marginal School (c)the budgeting sourced from BOS fund andmanaged by the holding school (3) the availability of facilities and infrastructure to support the provision of Marginal School education is still very limited, SMP Marginal does not have its own building, the learning tool is only the teachers textbook. SMP Marginal Sentosa utilizing the existing infrastructure, things that are needed such as chalk directly requested to the holding school (4) the learning process of Sentosa Marginal School are more conditioned to the situation of students as well as facilities and infrastructure.Keywords: implementation of policy, education, Marginal School
