- ABSTRAKAISYAH, NIM 1410245755, Sintesis, Uji Toksisitas dan Uji Antioksidan Senyawa Kalkon dan Pirazolin Inti Naftalen Turunan 4-Metoksi Asetofenon, dibawah bimbingan Jasril dan Hilwan Yuda Teruna.Pirazolin tersubstitusi dapat disintesis melalui siklisasi antarmolekul antara kalkon tersubstitusi dengan hidrazin atau turunannya. Dua analog pirazolin yaitu 3-(4-metoksi-fenil)-5-naftalen-1-il-1-fenil-4,5-dihidro-pirazol (PF CA-4OMe) dan 3-(4-metoksi-fenil)-5-naftalen-1-il-4,5-dihidro-1H-pirazol (PH CA-4OMe) telah disintesis menggunakan katalis asam asetat glasial dengan iradiasi gelombang mikro. Senyawa hasil sintesis selanjutnya dikarakterisasi berdasarkan interpretasi data spektroskopi UV, FTIR, HRMS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, HSQC dan HMBC. Uji toksisitas menggunakan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) menunjukkan bahwa senyawa CA-4OMe dan PH CA-4OMe berpotensi aktif sebagai senyawa antikanker dengan nilai LC50 berturut-turut 11,47 dan 105,79 μg/mL. Disisi lain, kedua senyawa pirazolin (PF CA-4OMe dan PH CA-4OMe) menunjukkan aktivitas antioksidan dengan nilai IC50 masing-masing 387,64 dan 122,22 μg/mL.Kata kunci : Kalkon, pirazolin, iradiasi gelombang mikro, brine shrimp lethality test (BSLT) dan antioksidanABSTRACTAISYAH, NIM 1410245755, Synthesis, Cytotoxic dan Antioxidant Tests of Chalcone and Pyrazoline Containing Naphtalen Derivative of 4-Methoxy Acetofenon, supervised and proctoring by Jasril and Hilwan Yuda Teruna.The subtituted pyrazolines can be synthesized via intermolecular cyclization between substituted chalcones and hydrazine derivatives. Two analog pyrazolines, 3-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-5-naphtalen-1-yl-1-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-pyrazole (PF CA-4OMe) and 3-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-5-naphtalen-1-yl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole (PH CA-4OMe) were synthesized using glacial acetic acid as a catalyst and assisted by microwave irradiation. The structures of the compounds were characterized based on the interpretation of UV, FTIR, HRMS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, HSQC and HMBC. The toxicity test was carried out by Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method. The result show that CA-4OMe and PH CA-4OMe were proved to have toxicity potency as anticancer with LC50 values 11,47 and 105,79 μg/mL respectively.In the other hand, two pyrazolines (PF CA-4OMe and PH CA-4OMe) were proved to have antioxidant activity with IC50 387,64 and 122,22 μg/mL respectively.Key words : Chalcone, pyrazoline, microwave irradiation, brine shrimp lethality test (BSLT) and antioxidant.
