- ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal dan sikap inovatif terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah 167 guru SMP di Kecamatan Sukajadi Kota Pekanbaru. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling dan menghasilkan 118 orang responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan data diolah dengan menggunakan teknik regresi ganda. Dari analisis dan pengolahan data disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Komunikasi Interpersonal mempunyai pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru 62,4% (2) Sikap Inovatif mempunyai pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 42,4 % (3) Komunikasi Interpersonal dan Sikap Inovatif mempunyai pengaruh secara signifikan dan simultan terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 67,9 % dan sisanya sebesar 32,1 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui komunikasi interpersonal dan sikap inovatif.Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Interpersonal, Sikap Inovatif, Kinerja GuruABSTRACTThe aim of the study is to analyzed the effect of Interpersonal Communication and Innovative Attitude toward Teachers Performances. This research used survey method with descriptive quantitative approach types. The populations of the study are 167 teachers in some Private Junior High Schools across District of Sukajadi Pekanbaru. The samples are selected using proportionate random sampling technique and the results are 118 respondents. Data is collected using questionnaires, and it is analyzed using a multiple regression technique. The study concluded that : (1) Interpersonal communication has effect significantly on teachers’ performances at 62,4% (2) Innovative Attitude has affected significantly on teachers’ performances at 42,4% (3) Interpersonal communication and innovative Attitude has affected significantly and simultaneously on teachers’ performances at 67,9% and the rest 32,1% is influenced by other factors. This study is recommended for increasing teachers performances through interpersonal communication and innovative attitudes.
