  • Eka Farm is a layers farm located in Sigi, Central Sulawesi. Since 2009, Eka Farm has been rearing the ISA Brown hens, because it has many advantages over local laying hens, including a high egg production and egg size larger. Although it has many advantages, ISA Brown chickens basically not originated from Indonesia, so it should continue to be monitored in order to maintain compliance with the ISA Standard. With a rearing system that is still traditional, a lot of ISA Standard parameters, as well as the length of raising chickens (90 weeks), are become obstacles for Eka Farm in applying it. As a result, the monitoring and evaluation of chicken rearing is hard to do. Based on the problem, Eka Farm is need an information system that can intensively monitor the chicken rearing, and evaluates it if a problem occurs. In addition, the standard ISA data can be used for manage needs of chicken feed stock so that its use becomes more efficient. The system is expected to help Eka Farm in order to maintain the performance of chicken remains in the best condition to achieve maximum egg production.
