  • The needs of supplies demands of Siti Khodijah Hospital (SKH) Sepanjang are organized by Logistic Unit. In its procedure, the logistic unit waited for the order lists from other units without making any predictions to the next supplies order. As a consequence, either over stock or lack of stock happened. Over stock created excessive cost while lack of stock created less utility of warehouse which could result in high cost as well. Decision Support System (DSS) for supplies order with Single Exponential Smoothing method and Double Moving Average method provided information of supplies along with its quantity order for the next month. The quantity of supplies was determined based on the result of forecasting of the two methods calculation. The calculation done based on the nature of supplies, that is stationer or trend. This was to avoid the unbalance of stocks. The result of testing showed that there was 50% valid and reliable data. The implication of the result was high fluctuation did not occur and the data pattern was more stable. The forecasting showed that the most frequent method occurring was Single Exponential Smoothing method with α=0.2 while the next method that occurred was Double Moving Average method with three period length. DSS for supplies order by using Single Exponential Smoothing method and Double Moving Average method helped solve the problems of unbalance stocks of supplies in Siti Khodijah Hospital Sepanjang
