- Indonesia is one of the developing countries, in the process of its development Indonesia has experienced various problems, one of which is related to population. Indonesia has a very fast population growth problem. The high rate of population growth can cause pressure in various fields of development, including education, labor, and income. This can affect the level of population welfare, slow down the development process and the expected economic growth. The high rate of fertility that occurs in Indonesia is also felt in Pasuruan Regency, especially in Grati District. In 2020 the population in Grati District is 77,886 people. The occupation of the population in Grati District is in the agricultural and agricultural fields. In the area that is the center of the population of the Grati District, he becomes a dairy farmer. The number of cattle breeders in Grati District is 231 people. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a job as a determinant of socio-economic conditions on the fertility of couples aged families of dairy farmers in Grati District. Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara berkembang, dalam proses pembangunannya Indonesia mengalami berbagai masalah, salah satunya berkaitan dengan kependudukan. Indonesia memiliki permasalahan pertumbuhan penduduk yang sangat cepat. Tingginya laju pertumbuhan penduduk dapat menimbulkan tekanan dalam berbagai bidang pembangunan antara lain di bidang pendidikan, tenaga kerja dan di bidang pendapatan. Hal tersebut dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kesejahteraan penduduk, memperlambat proses pembangunan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang diharapkan. Tingginya laju fertilitas yang terjadi di Indonesia dirasakan juga di Kabupaten Pasuruan terutama di Kecamatan Grati. Pada tahun 2020 jumlah penduduk di Kecamatan Grati adalah sebanyak 77.886 jiwa. Mayoritas pekerjaan penduduk di Kecamatan Grati adalah di bidang pertanian dan peternakan. Pada bidang peternakan penduduk Kecamatan Grati mayoritas menjadi peternak sapi perah. Jumlah peternak sapi di Kecamatan Grati sebanyak 231 orang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh sebuah pekerjaan yang menjadi penentu kondisi sosial ekonomi terhadap fertilitas pasangan usia subur keluarga peternak sapi perah di Kecamatan Grati.
