- Background: Pregnancy is a physiological process that develops normally and results in the birth of a healthy and full-term baby through the birth canal, so that a normal pregnancy requires good and balanced nutrition. Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) is a lack of energy intake that comes from macro and micronutrients, especially vitamin A, vitamin D, folic acid, iron, zinc, calcium and iodine and other micronutrients. Purpose: How to provide comprehensive midwifery care to Mrs. I with Chronic Energy Deficiency and Baby.Mrs. I In The West Pontianak Region. Research Methods: This type of research used in the preparation of the final report is descriptive observational research with a case study approach. This study aims to examine a problem through a case study consisting of a single unit. The subjects in this study were Mrs. I and Baby. Mrs. I collecting data by history, observation, physical examination and discussion. Results: comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs. I during the second and third trimester of pregnancy with Chronic Energy Deficiency, in labor with Chronic Energy Deficiency and spontaneous labor without complications, in the puerperium with normal puerperium, in newborns with normal newborns, in neonates with normal neonates, and patients decide not to use family planning. Conclusion: From this comprehensive midwifery care obtained by doing midwifery care independently and early treatment, there were no complications from labor to childbirth and neonates. It is recommended that midwives maintain comprehensive midwifery care in accordance with standards, and continue to carry out Antenatal Care (ANC) examinations for every pregnant woman in order to detect complications as early as possible.
