  • The objective of research is to describe the learning of critical reading by Grade XI Students at SMAN10 Bandar Lampung. Planning, implementation, and assesment by teacher are include this learning of critical reading. Research method is qualitative descriptive. The datum were obtained by observation and documentation. The results for plans in learning of critical reading indicated that the clarity of formulation objectives learning and detail of scenarios were not found in the Lesson Plan which is designed by the teacher. The result for observation of teacher activity implementation consists of three stages, that are pre learning,core and cover. The methods used by teacher were giving question and answer, enquiry, group discussions and presentations. Learning resources/media learning of critical reading were newspaper and LKS. Student activity implementation seen that the overall student actively follow the learning process. Assesment was conducted by teacher to evaluate students ability used the written test techniques.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran membaca kritis siswa kelas XI SMAN 10 BandarLampung. Pembelajaran membaca kritis tersebut meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian untuk perencanaan pembelajaran membaca kritis menunjukkan bahwa kejelasan perumusan tujuan pembelajaran dan kerincian skenario pembelajaran tidak terdapat di dalam RPP yang dirancang oleh guru. Hasil observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran membaca kritis untuk aktivitas guru terdiri atas tiga tahapan, yaitu prapembelajaran, inti dan penutup. Metode yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran ialah tanya jawab, inquari, diskusi kelompok dan presentasi. Sumber belajar/media pembelajaran membaca kritis yaitu koran dan LKS. Aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran membaca kritis terlihat bahwa para siswa secara keseluruhan aktif mengikuti proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung.Kata kunci : pelaksanaan, pembelajaran membaca kritis, penilaian, perencanaan.
