- The aimed of this research was to describe the used of diction in stadium general of ethic from Prof. Dr. Franz Magnis Suseno S.J and its implication to learning Indonesia language at Senior High School. The method of the research was qualitative descriptive method. Based on the overall analysis, the author concluded that the diction in stadium general of ethic from Prof. Dr. Franz Magnis Suseno S.J. on Youtube consisted of 331 denotative words, 132 connotative words which covered 88 positive connotative words and 44 negative connotative words and context. The implication of diction in learning Indonesia language in Senior High School was the study material at the first grade students of the odd semester about making exposition text by using structure and aspect of language.Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan diksi pada kuliah umum etika Prof. Dr. Franz Magnis Suseno S.J. serta implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis secara keseluruhan, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan diksi pada kuliah umum etika Prof. Dr. Franz Magnis Suseno S.J. di Youtube terdapat 331 kata bermakna denotasi, 132 kata bermakna konotasi, meliputi 88 kata bermakna konotasi positif dan 44 kata bermakna konotasi negatif serta konteksnya. Implikasi penggunaan diksi terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA yaitu materi pembelajaran siswa kelas X semester ganjil tentang mengkontruksi teks eksposisi dengan struktur dan aspek kebahasaan.Kata kunci : diksi, pembelajaran, kuliah umum etika di youtube.
