- The process of leave management at PT. Labtech Penta International Batam at this time is still done manually. Checking remaining of leave, leave application, and leave approval is done in stages and still rely on the leave letter contained in each employee records data. The leave management process has several disadvantages. Employee can not know the rest of their personal leave entitlements and take leave by co-workers directly, so employees can not do leave management as well. Leaders also have not been able to take leave decisions based on the principle of equal distribution of employee leave right. Another disadvantage is the process of managing employee leave less effective and efficient. In this study, it is proposed making the information system based on android leave application using Ionic programming language and MySQL database. The application is expected to solve the problems encountered in the management of manual leave at PT. Labtech Penta International Batam.
