  • This research is an associative research with quantitative approach about students’ interest in continuing their studies to college on student of SMK Negeri 1 Purwokerto. “The Influence of Social Environment, Self-Potential, and Parents Income on Students Interest in Continuing Their Studies to College (Study on Students of Class XII Accounting SMK Negeri 1 Purwokerto). The aims of research is to analyze: (1) the influence of social environment toward students interest in continuing their studies to college; (2) the influence of self-potential toward students interest in continuing their studies to college; (3) the influence of parents income toward students interest in continuing their studies to college. The research populations are all students of class XII Accounting SMK Negeri 1 Purwokerto which amounted to 91 students and all put as respondents. Based on result and data analysis using multiple linear regression it has got the conclusions: (1) there is positive influence of social environment toward students interest in continuing their studies to; (2) there is positive influence of self-potential toward students interest in continuing their studies to college; (3) there is positive influence of parents income toward students interest in continuing their studies to college. As implication of the conclusions above, in order to increase the students’ interest in continuing their studies to college, the school needs to provide support by motivating students and providing information related to universities. For students, students need to always prepare themselves if they have the interest to continue their studies to college by always developing their potential. For parents, they need to provide full support to the child for continuing to college.
