The Income Contribution of Female Batik Workers to Household Income in Kampung Batik Sokaraja, Sokaraja Sub-District, Banyumas Regency

- This study is entitled "The Income Contribution of Female Batik Workers To Household Income InKampung Batik Sokaraja, Sokaraja Sub-District, Banyumas Regency". The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the contribution of women's batik labor income to family income and to determine the relationship between age, education level, family dependents and working hours with women's batik labor income. This research was conducted by survey research methods. Respondents in this study were female batik workers in Kampung Batik Sokaraja with a sample of 30 people. Data analysis techniques in this study used multiple linear regression. The results obtained that the income of women batik workers in Kampung Batik Sokaraja averaged Rp. 1,057,000 / month and the contribution of income of women batik workers to family income was 37.74%, so it can be said that their contribution is small.Therefore, it is expected that the female batik workers have additional or side jobs other than being batik workers and the female batik workers should improve their skillsin making batik.
