  • This study aims to determine whether there is or not there is a relationship between students’ responsibility and students’ achievement through reading comprehension tests in English learning. The research was conducted in eleventh graders students of Vocational High School 1 Demak. The method used quantitative research. The sample was eleventh graders students majoring in accounting. In collecting data, the writer used a questionnaire to determine the level of studens’t responsibility in learning, and tests to measure learning achievement. Then analyzed using SPSS 25. The results of normality were 0.200 for responsibility and 0.097 for reading comprehension. Then the correlation between responsibility and reading comprehension was 0.775. In the conclusion of this study, there is a significant correlation between students’ responsibility and their achievement at eleventh graders students of SMK N 1 Demak in the academic year of 2019/2020.
