  • The objective of this study is to find out the correlation between student’s learning style in reading and their reading achievement at the Eleventh Grade Students of SMAN 11 Semarang in the academic year 2017/2018. This study is designed as quantitative research. The sample of this study took only one class that was XI IA 5 grades of SMAN 11 Semarang in the academic year of 2018/2019. It consists of 37 students. The writer used 3 kinds of instrument such as questionnaire, interview, and test to collect the data. The data was analyzed using SPSS 20.0. Based on the result of the study showed that the correlation coefficient was 0.331 and it was bigger than “r” table 0.3246. It means that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Finally, the conclusion is there is correlation between students’ learning style in reading and the students’ reading achievement at the XI grades students of SMAN 11 Semarang in the academic year of 2018/2019.
