The objective of this research are to determine the causal factor of plunger fuel injection pump stuck, impact to diesel engine generator performance, and to analyze strategy for resolve plunger fuel injection pump stuck problem. Authors use the SWOT method as a data analysis technique to analyze the existing problems in the fuel injection pump, which factors are causing plunger stuck and what efforts are made to overcome the factors of the problem by identifying various factors systematically against strenghts, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats from the environment to formulate the strategy to be taken. Plunger stuck is caused by using bad quality of fuel. The impact is imbalance of exhaust gases each cylinder. Strategy to resolve the plunger stuck problem is fuel purification continously, maximizing filtration in fuel line, and routine maintenance of fuel injection pumps.
