- Dragon fruit is one of the fruit commodities included in the type of cactus which can grow in arid areas and less productive land such as in Pangandaran Regency. Knowledge of the surrounding community about dragon fruit is good, but knowledge about cultivation and propagation of dragon fruit is still lacking. So that the supply of plant material that is still difficult to obtain and requires high costs for farmers because of the increasing number of enthusiasts in the cultivation of dragon fruit. To resolve this problem such as by providing the planting material independently. The technique of plant propagation of dragon fruit plants such as by vegetative propagation which can improve the quality of the yield and economic value of dragon fruit. To increase public awareness and interest can be done by providing assistance in the plant propagation technique of dragon fruit plants. The area used as a partner in this activity is Cintaratu Village, Parigi District, Pangandaran District. The method used in the mentoring activity is the treatment of dragon fruit multiplication, propagation practice, and the making of planting demonstration plots of tanama. Based on the results of the enrichment shows that the enthusiasm and high interest of the community in getting knowledge and information about the propagation techniques of dragon fruit plants in the area and willing to cooperate in the next program.
