To analyze the data, the writer applied functions of code-switching in foreign language classroom by Sert. In this research, the writer employed qualitative method while the data were collected through video recording one English teacher in a senior high school in Kalianda, Lampung, Indonesia. 

The findings show that all the function of code-switching proposed by Sert which consist of Topic switch, Affective function, and Repetitive function were used by the teacher during the teaching learning activities.
