This research aims to explain the form of English idioms using the parts human body that have an equivalent in Indonesian and the similarities found in this two languages. This research is a contrastive research, because the most important way is to compare. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study are in the form of idioms in English which have an equivalent in Indonesian idioms. The data source was obtained from the English Idiom dictionary and articles related to this study, then classified into idioms which equivalent one to another. Based on the analysis that has been done, the conclusions are; firstly the idiom in Indonesian and English dominantly come into the pure idiom type. Second, the similarities between English and Indonesian idioms are in comparison type I.
