This is the case with the function of ethics in a Christian family institution. If ethics is not consistently applied in a household, it will have a negative impact on the harmony and quality of life of a family, which in turn has a negative impact on the church, school, community and nation. With regard to the above thesis, this scientific work intends to find out how the implementation of Christian Ethics in the family of the governing body of Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia (BPJ GKII) in Central Java Province. BPJ GKII members in Central Java Province come from various ethnicities, ages, education, social status, church origins and different occupations ranging from entrepreneurs, teachers / lecturers, civil servants, housewives, etc. In the GKII organizational structure, the pastor is also concurrently the Chairman of the BPJ. From interviews with several Pastors (BPJ Chairpersons) in GKII Central Java Province, it was revealed that BPJ members had applied Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 in the "high" category. However, in the opinion of researchers, it is necessary to conduct research to find out the actual level of implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 among BPJ GKII in Central Java province. The Research Problems As a research of statement, this study wants to know how the level of the implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 in the BPJ GKII members in Central Java Province. In addition, this study also wants to know what indicators and background categories determine the implementation of Christian Ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 in the research locus described above. The Research Goals The objectives of this study are: First, to find out the level of implementation of Christian Ethics in the Family based on the Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 in the BPJ GKII Central Java Province. Second, to find out the most dominant indicators determining the implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 among BPJ GKII Central Java Province. Third, to find out the background categories that tend to determine the implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 among BPJ GKII Central Java Province. The Research Method This study examines in depth the Free Variable (X) or Exogenous Variable, namely Christian Ethics based on Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 with exegetical methods and in-depth theological analysis with the aim of finding the research dimensions used to determine the level of implementation of the independent variables. (X) when implemented in the BPJ GKII family in Central Java as a Bound Variable (Y) or Endogenous Variable. Based on a theoretical study of the text of Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4, it was found that there are two main dimensions, namely the dimension in the form of husband and wife relations and the dimension in the form of the relationship between parents and children, where each dimension consists of several research indicators, namely in the form of theological aspects. Spiritual, Social Aspects, Moral Aspects and Physical Aspects. Therefore, in order for this research to achieve the research objectives, research indicators that are considered dominant and the background category of the research object (Moderate Variable) are used as factors that determine the implementation of Christian ethics based on Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 in the life of the BPJ GKII family in Central Java. The Research Hypotheses The research hypotheses in this scientific paper are: First, the level of implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 among BPJ GKII in Central Java Province is in the "High" category. Second, the Theological Aspect in the Dimension of Husband and Wife Relations is the most dominant indicator in determining the implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22- 6: 4 among BPJ GKII Central Java Province. Third, the "Origin Church" background category is a more decisive factor in the realization of the implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22- 6: 4 among BPJ GKII Central Java Province. The Research Results The findings or results of the research show that: First, the level of implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22- 6: 4 among BPJ GKII in Central Java Province is in the category "Medium". Thus the hypothesis is rejected or not proven. Second, the physical aspect, which is 77.7% in the dimension of husband-wife relations, is the most dominant indicator in determining the implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 among BPJ GKII Central Java Province, and not Theological Aspects. Thus, the second hypothesis is not proven. Third, the category of “ethnicity” background is a more decisive factor in the realization of the implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22- 6: 4 among BPJ GKII Central Java Province, and not the “Origin Church” background. Therefore, the third hypothesis is also not proven (rejected). The Research Conclusions The conclusions that can be drawn are: First, the implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 in the BPJ GKII Central Java Province is in the "Medium" category. For this reason, the policy that needs to be taken is to improve and maximize the application of Christian ethics in the family in order to achieve the "high" category. Second, indicators in the form of "Physical Aspects" are more dominant in the implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Letter Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 among BPJ GKII Central Java Province. The policy that needs to be taken is to improve the quality of relations and the economy of the families of BPJ GKII members in Central Java province. Third, the category of "ethnicity" of BPJ GKII members in Central Java province predominantly determines the implementation of Christian ethics in the family based on Letter Ephesians 5: 22-6: 4 among BPJ GKII Central Java Province. For this reason, the policy that can be taken is to increase the relationship or intimacy and togetherness (Quality Time) of husband and wife members of the GKII Congregation Board in Central Java province, especially BPJ members who come from Javanese tribes.
