Background of Research This research background is that students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta were insufficient in implementing the life in Christ. It was observed that some students were still often talking about dirty words both in surroundings and in the school environment. Inanother sidethe students were still in the adolescent phase that was an identity search period. And then, the students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta also often to do bad behaviour such as resist their teacher advice dan lazy to join the worship activity at school so they are difficult to growing in Christ.From those cases, the researcher was initiated to implement the life instruction in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-15. Problems of Research Based on the background, the problems are as follows. First, how much is the implementation of Paul’s instruction about the life in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-15 for VIII grade students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta? Second, which dimension is the most dominant determining the implementation of Paul’s instruction about the life in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-15 for VIII grade students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta? Purpose of Research The purposes of this research were as follows. First, to find out the implementation of Paul’s instruction about the life in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-15 for VIII grade students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta. Second, to find out the most dominant dimension that determines the implementation of Paul’s instruction about the life in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-15 for VIII grade students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta. Hypothesis The hypothesis of this research was as follows. First, the implementation of Paul’s instruction about the life in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-15 for VIII grade students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta is in the moderate category. Second, the most dominant dimension that determines the implementation of Paul’s instruction about the life in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-15 for VIII grade students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta is growing in Christ (D1). Method of Research This was a quantitative study. Hypothesis testing was done using a simple correlation analysis and a regression significance test by SPSS 20. Result of Research The first hypothesis was accepted that the Implementation of Paul’s instruction about the life in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-15 for VIII grade students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta was in the moderate category by lower and upper bounds about 130,1794-139,6206. The second, D1 (Growing in Christ) by R Square = 0, 903 and contribution about 90,3 %. D2 ( Life as new man) by R Square 0, 701 and contribution about 70,1%. Such those, hypothesis was accepted that the most dominant dimension that determines the implementation of Paul’s instruction about the life in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-15 for VIII grade students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta was growing in Christ (D1) by R2 = 0,903 and contribution about 90,3%. Conclusion The conclusion of this research was as follows. First, the tendency of the implementation of Paul’s instruction about the life in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-15 for VIII grade students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta is in the moderate category. Second, the most dominant dimension that determines the implementation of Paul’s instruction about the life in Christ based on Colossians 2:6-15 for VIII grade students of SMP BOPKRI 3 Yogyakarta is growing in Christ.
