- Decreasing The Content Of Iron (Fe) And Manganese From Well Water Using Activated Carbon From Bamboo By Varying Contact Time (Msy. In the manufacture of activated carbon is consists of carbonization and activation processes. The purpose of this research is to determine the optimum conditions for the highest absorption and fill the quality standards appropriate existing SII. variations in particle size is 20,60,120,170,200 mesh and the time variation of time spent on this research are 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 minute.
