- B3 wastes (hazardous materials and toxic) increasing concerned about the broader impact on the public health and environmental quality of life. Lubricating oil or used oil contains heavy metals that are harmful to the environment, especially if it is directly dumped into the ground.Processing of used lubricating oil using clays as the adsorbent is one way which is done to control hazardous waste in the environment, by means of lowering the levels of heavy metals in the lubricating oil of the former. The research was done by varying the amount of clay adsorbents (3.6 .9, and 12 grams) and contact time of the lubricating oil used with clay adsorbents (100, 150 and 200 rpm) to the quality of the results of the adsorption on metal levels decrease Pb (Lead).The results of the research showed the decline of metal Pb (Lead) on oil lubricant container. Metal levels of Pb (Lead) used lubricating oil initial i.e. 5.26 ppm and at optimum conditions with a total of 6 grams of adsorbent and the contact time of 150 rpm.
