Sriraya II No. 08. The writer found that UKM Sentosa Jaya is still using recording purchase and sales system manually. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of information systems manage the purchase and sales of the purchase and sales transaction data by using Visual Basic 6.0. Data were collected through interview with the owner of UKM Sentosa Jaya. The writer used the programming languages application Visual Basic 6.0 to design a system of purchase and sales information system. The result from the test of the purchase and sales information system which has been designed by Visual Basic 6.0 shows that the documentation and processing of sales data were better and the output of the system is a report which is better and more accurate than the manual system.
