- This report to explain the motivation of emlpoyees working in AJB Bumiputera 1912 Branch Lemabang Palembang, which located at jalan R.E. Martadinata No. 7C Palembang. The data was collected through questionnaire. The questionnaire were distributed to 42 employees of AJB Bumiputera 1912 Cabang Lemabang Palembang by using non probability sampling technique with saturation sampling. The authors obtained the largest percentage of any requirement contained in Maslow’s Hierarcy of Needs employees were encouraged work, as there are 71% of respondents agree that the physiological needs can encourage employees to using income earned from work to meet the daily needs. Then there are 71% of respondents agree that security needs, employees want to get the physical protection of the work and had the rights of the employee, other than there are 81% of respondents agree that social needs, employees can expect to work well received, by fellow employees in AJB Bumiputera 1912 Cabang Lemabang Palembang. There are 81% of respondents agree that to work in order to earn a good reputation in the community and 71% of respondents agree that work in AJB Bumiputera 1912 Cabang Lemabang Palembang according to ability of employees. The authors therefore suggest that employees should maintain a good performance so that all needs can be met and the company also must be able to carry out responsibilities in fulfilling the rights of the employees which is a requirement of all employees of AJB Bumiputera 1912 Cabang Lemabang Palembang.
