- This final report is entitled “The Potency Of Gusong Bugis Beach As A Tourism Destination in Belitung”. The aims of this report are to identify whether the Gusong BugisBeach potencies as a tourism destination in Belitung. The method used in writing this final report is SWOT analysis and data were collected by using observation and interview. The result shows that the Gusong BugisBeach has potency to be a tourism destination in Belitung, because it has five requirements of a tourism attraction according to Maryani (1991, p. 11) such as what to see, what to do, what to buy, what to arrive and what to stay. Based on the finding, the writer found that on the Gusong Bugis beach there were requirements fulfilled and some had not been fulfilled. It can be concluded that Gusong Bugis Beach has potency to become a tourism destination by considering the requirements of tourism attraction and uniqueness.
