- This Final Report aims to determine the efforts made by PT Citra Bumi Sumatera to reach the mounting target of advertising column and the roles of the advertising agency to achieve the target advertisement in the Daily Newspaper Sumatera Ekspres. The writer used interview and library research to get the data. The data were analyzed by using correlation coefficient method and least squares method. The writer found that PT Citra Bumi Sumatera provided convenience in terms of advertising, simplify the payment system, coorporated with other companies, provided advertising agency. Furthermore, the roles of the advertising agency are responsible for advertising design and the intermediary between the consumers who want to advertise and PT Citra Bumi Sumatera. Meanwhile, the effect of advertising agencies on the volume of advertising was very strong and positive in the amount of 0.94 percentage. Writer suggests to add 2 (two) advertising agencies for Daily Newspaper Sumatera Ekspres on Plaju and Lemabang (Pusri). It’s better to the company to consider the placement of advertising agencies in the main street so it will be more easily to be seen and known by people who want to do the advertise.
