- In this final report, the writer would like to wrote about designing documentary video for documentation wayangkulit Palembang as traditional arts in South Sumatera. This design aims to inform wayangkulit Palembang as traditional arts in South Sumatera. Moreover, the writer wanted to promote wayangkulitPalembang by designing documentary video as traditional arts in Palembang, South Sumatera. There are three processes of designing this video they are: pre-production, production, and post-production. There are 86 videos, 3songs, and 1 video from youtube to be collected for the data draft. The result of editing process shows there are 35 scenes including 42 shots, 3 songs, narration and also subtitle. It is concluded that documentary video can be used as an alternative medium to inform or promote wayangkulit Palembang in Palembang, South Sumatera.
