- Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) and Qudrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) Modulation is simply the allocation of one fixed phase for every code in the bit streams. In BPSK modulation, it’s needed to allocate two distinct phases for “1” and “0”. In QPSK modulation, it’s needed to allocate four distict phases, each for “00”, “01”, “10” and “11”. Bandwidth efficiency in BPSK is 1 b/s/Hz and 2b/s/Hz in QPSK. Higher efficiency bandwidth means narrower bandwidth needed for data transmission. M-PSK modulation and demodulation simulator created aimed to generate BPSK dan QPSK signals using Matlab software tools. The result show that the simulation is able to generate BPSK dan QPSK signals perfectly.
