- Along with the era advancement, needs for information technology is also increasing, likewise needs for backbone networking for support the needs of telecommunication services in daily life. In the implementation of backbone network, almost in every place found traffic distribution on the link who was not equally. For the example link in the Circuit Emulation Service (CES) in Belitang that had congestion because of the radio is not one type and Bandwidth is small. Because of the distribution traffic who was not equally, sending information from Circuit Emulation Service Belitang to Circuit Emulation ServicePalembang become a little bit hampered. This is due to routing shortest-path protocol in CES sending traffic via the shortest path. To resolve the problem in CES, we can do Traffic Engineering using Label Switched Path. Label Switched Path can be arrangement so that can route traffic on the link that had congestion to route with low utilize. After traffic redirects with Traffic Engineering using Label Switched Path, there is utilize change on CES-D1-BLTA 1/4/8 that early 15.50 % become 23.77 % an on CES-D1-BLTA 1/6/7 that early 56.78 % become 48.36 %. With Traffic Engineering, network that had congestion can be fixed.
