Electronics Nuclear engineering</subject><description>Distribution shaft works to convert medium voltage (12kV or 20kV) into low voltage (220 volt and 380 volt) and distribute power to low voltage consumer.&#xD; It can be generally stated that in a transformer there are two types of losses, ie without load and full load losses. Transformer is an electric machine that plays an important role in the distribution system. The transform transformer transforms the intermediate voltage into a low voltage. As with other components of the distribution circuit, the energy losses and voltage drops caused by the electric current flowing to the load are the determinations for the selection and location of the transformer&#xD; At Rayon Sukarami the network system used is a radial network system. This network is used for small and medium load areas with low density and relatively fixed. Viewed from the point of circuit and its security system, this form of network is simple, and cheap so that its reliability is less good.&#xD; In the calculation of the loss of electrical energy in the distribution network, PT PLN has its own formula. To be able to calculate the loss of electrical energy, it takes the energy data received from, (1) UPT, (2) MUSI II, (3) Kenten, (4) Mariana. The unit or sector that receives energy from all four places is Kenten, in addition to the data obtained is KWH&#xD; Sold or electric energy sold at KWH Selling Tul III-09. In the distribution section there is also own use untu distribution unit (PS Distribution).&#xD; Of all the results obtained, the authors concluded that, the delivery of power is only done to the Kenten sector, because the delivery to Rivai and Mariana only 0 Kwh, as well as in the acceptance of energy sector Rivai who do not accept.
