- This research is motivated by the problem of electric energy needs in PangkalanBulian Village, Batanghari Leko District, MusiBanyuasin Regency, South Sumatera. This area has no electricity network that can meet the electricity demand supplied by PT. PLN, so that the power plant used comes from electric generator. However, the generator used is often damaged in coil windings. With the condition of the damage then the need for the correct electrical generator repair process is needed, so that the cost of maintenance and repair of electric generator can be saved as small as possible. Process of electric generator repair one of which can be done by rewinding the coil on the stator or rotor generator. This research is conducted by collecting data based on literature method, observation to tested generator and consultation with those who have expertise in this field. After rewinding the generator produces a speed of 1.490 rpm rotation with an output power of 2.040 W and an efficiency of 94%. Rewinding of this generator should be done by selecting a good conductor and type of insulation, measuring the diameter of the wire carefully, and the number of loops is not reduced.
