- This study aims to determine the level of Hotel Tax Effectiveness and Contribution to Local Revenue in 2011-2015. This research uses quantitative approach. The data used in this research is secondary data from Report Realization of Local Tax Acceptance of Palembang City. The analytical method used is the use of Local Tax Effectiveness Ratio and Local Tax Contribution Ratio. The results showed that the average rate of effectiveness of Hotel Tax Very Effective and the level of Hotel Tax Contribution to PAD in Palembang City Very Less.
