  • This final project is planning a geometric design and rigid pavement on roads Sei. Lilin – Peninggalan, South Sumatera in sta. 12 + 000 to sta. 17 + 000. The road construction is a very important requirement as the main supporter of economic activity in both the central and regional levels. One of them is the area Sei. Lilin – Peninggalan, because these two areas is a potential region as a line of business and industry as well as the road is a causeway linking South Sumatera and Jambi Province. In planning the road Sei. Lilin – Peninggalan authors plan total road length 5 km, width of pavement 7 m and 2 m shoulders on both sides of the road. The planning pavement using rigid pavement with a plate thickness of 20 cm and uses the quality of concrete K-350, as well as using aggregate subbase layer of class B with a thickness of 15 cm. Calculations obtained from ADT24.948,72 smp, so the streets is classified in class I (artery) who holds the value of smp > smp 20,000 based regulation Geometric Planning Highway. This road is planned with eight kinds of road bend, there is 2 Full Circle (FC), 2 Spiral – Spiral (SS), 4 Spiral Circle Spiral (SCS). Based on calculations obtained costs incurred on road planning Sei. Lilin – Peninggalan is Rp.37.774.736.000(Thirty Seven Billion seven hundred seventy four million seven hundred thirty six thousand). The construction of this road implemented within 166 calendar days.
