  • This final project is about planning a geometric design and rigid pavement of Kedaton – Trans Unit XVI roads in South Sumatra province sta. 0 + 000 to sta. 5 + 000. The roads construction is a very important requirement as the main that support the economic activity in both the central and regional levels. One of them is the region of Kedaton – Trans Unit XVI because these two regions is a potential sector as a line of business and industry as well as the road is a causeway linking peninjauan and sinar peninjauan district. In planningKedaton – Trans Unit XVI road remains of the author designed the it with a total length of 5 km, 7 m width of pavement and 2 m roadside on both sides of the road. The design of pavement using rigid pavement with a plate thickness of 19 cm with the quality of concrete K-350, as well as using aggregate subbase layer of class B with a thickness of 15 cm. Obtained from the calculation of ADT 28,768smp. Based on regulation Geometric Planning Highway this road is classified in class I (artery) that holds the value of smp over 20,000 with CBR value of 6,68%, with six corners such as 2 typesofSpiral Circle Spiral (SCS), 2 Full Circle (FC), and 2 Spiral – Spiral (SS). Based on calculations obtained costs incurred on road planning in Kedaton – Trans Unit XVI is Rp.39.081.350.000,00 (Thirty-nine Billion eigthy one Million Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Rupiahs). The construction of this road implemented within 168in working days.
