  • PEAT WATER TREATMENT WITH COMPOSITE MEMBRANE POLYSULFONE-POLYAMIDE (PSF-PA) BY MIKROFILTRATION (Jannatul Fitri, 2016, 64 Pages, 8 Tables, 8 pictures, 4 Attachment) The purpose of this research in addition to get clean water is to dtermine the optimal conditions of varying concentrations of coagulant and operating pressure adn rejection coefficient of each parameter tested. This research used an experimental method, observation, tabulations adn regression graphically. The processing is done by affixing a coagulant alum, sedimentation and filtration are passed on polysulfone-polyamide composite membrane (PSF-PA). The parameters analyzed is pH, TDS, salinity and turbidity. The result showed that the optimum conditions of pH rejection is at a pressure of 2.5 bar with a concentration of 300 ppm coagulant which produces a pH value of 5.5 with rejection value reached 64.18%. The optimum conditions TDS rejection coefficient is at a concentration of 300 ppm and 0.5 bar pressure which produces 470 ppm TDS values with a rejection coefficient reached 60.07%. The optimum conditions of salinity rejection coefficient reached 63.55% at a pressure of 0.5 bar and a concentration of 300 ppm which produces the salinity value of 257 ppm. The optimum conditions of a rejection coefficient turbidity reached 90.49% were obtained at a pressure of 2.5 bar with the addition of 300 ppm of coagulant that returns a value of 9.7 NTU.
